Rehome a rescued dog or cat

Every StrayKind animal has come through hardship and out the other side. Give one a loving home—and you'll help far more lives than just theirs.

Meet the animals How it works

Adopt one, help many

Choosing a rescue sets off a ripple of good that reaches far beyond the animal you bring home.

You free a space
Every animal rehomed opens a place at our sanctuary, so we can rescue another life still waiting out there.
You starve the mills
One more adopted rescue is one less dog or cat bred to order for puppy mills and pet shops.
You inspire others
Adopters and fosterers show friends and family what's possible—and more animals get helped because of it.
You gain a best friend
Rescues have a way of loving you back tenfold. It's wonderful for them—and just as good for you.

A note on food: we rehome to raw-feeding homes

At StrayKind our dogs and cats thrive on a species-appropriate raw diet, and we ask adopters and fosterers to keep feeding this way. It's a big part of the health you'll see in them—better coats, teeth, digestion and energy. New to raw? Don't worry: we'll guide you on what to feed and how, and we're only ever a message away. (Our application asks about this early on, so there are no surprises.)

Where we rehome

As a rule, we rehome within Taiwan, so we can meet you, support you, and stay close to the animal for life. That said, the right home can be anywhere—if you're overseas and feel you're truly the perfect match, do reach out. We'll always consider a wonderful overseas home, case by case.

Not ready to adopt? Foster.

Fostering gives an animal a loving home while they wait for their forever family—and frees a space so we can save another. We cover the essentials; you provide the sofa and the love.
