What I'm like

Armand is a gentle, affectionate boy who loves people and happily leans in for head rubs, chin scratches and cuddles. Rather than chasing toys, he is happiest spending quiet time beside someone and sharing the peaceful moments of everyday life. He would thrive in a calm indoor home and could live with friendly, easy-going cats following careful introductions.

My story

“Hi, I'm Armand!

I was rescued in Tucheng, New Taipei City. When I was found, I had two large wounds beneath my left ear and extensive injuries to my neck. During my veterinary checks, I was also diagnosed as FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive. Thankfully, with the care and love of the team at StrayKind, my wounds gradually healed, and I was given the chance to start a new chapter.

These days, my favourite thing in the world is being with people. The moment you reach out your hand, I'll happily lean in for head rubs and chin scratches. I also love being cuddled and am perfectly content to curl up in your arms.

Rather than chasing toys, I'm happiest simply spending quiet time by your side. Whether you're reading, working, watching television, or relaxing on the sofa, just being close to you is more than enough for me.

Health and care

Armand is FIV positive and currently in stable health. FIV is mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds and is not spread through shared food bowls, water bowls, litter trays or ordinary everyday contact. As Armand is gentle and currently lives peacefully with other cats, he does not necessarily need to be the only cat in the home; we will explain his care needs and assess each household individually.
