I'm a gentle soul who likes a calm, steady home and prefers to take my time getting to know new people. Once I feel safe with you, I'll quietly keep you company—settling nearby, offering a soft head-nudge, and showing my affection in my own understated way. I'm not one for being picked up, but I do love a gentle stroke, and I get along happily with other cats.
My story
“Hi, I’m Elsa.
I was rescued in Sanchong, New Taipei City, and I came to StrayKind alongside my daughter, Gloria. We looked after each other while we found our feet, and little by little we both learned what it feels like to be safe. Gloria has since found a family of her own—and it makes me happy to know she’s loved.
Now it’s my turn to hope. I’m a calm, gentle girl of around two, and I don’t need a busy or noisy household—just a patient person who’s happy to let a friendship grow at its own pace. I get along fine with other cats, too. Give me a little time and a quiet corner to call my own, and I’ll show you just how loving and loyal I can be.

Health & care
Healthy and spayed, with a glossy coat and good body condition—a routine vet check is recommended as standard for any rescue. Elsa is happy living alongside other cats. She can be shy when she first arrives somewhere new and has slipped out of an open window before, so she'll do best in a safe indoor home with secure windows and screens while she settles in.
