About Calico and Pearl
Calico and Pearl are a bonded pair—Calico a mature tortoiseshell, with gentle Pearl always beside her—and they come as a team. They like life at their own quiet pace, resting side by side and sharing a patch of sun. Settle them somewhere calm and they'll be a peaceful, devoted presence.
My story
“I’m Pearl, and I was living out in Pingxi when a kind passer-by grew worried and called for help. I had no strength left to run—my legs hurt, my eyes were cloudy, and I carried wounds from old scraps—so when the rescuers came, I simply sat quietly while they gently lifted me into a net and took me to the vet.
I share my life with Calico, and the two of us come as a pair. We rest side by side and feel safe whenever we’re together.
All we’re hoping for now is one calm home where we can stay together.”
Health & care
Pearl carries feline herpes (can flare under stress) and both have stomatitis, a gum condition—so they need a calm home, soft food and occasional treatment.
